Does your Teenager struggle to read words they knew yesterday?

Does your Teenager struggle to read words they knew yesterday?

The Symbol Recognition area of the brain allows your teenager to visually recognise and remember a word or symbol. If there is a problem in this area they will have difficulty remembering a word or symbol they have seen before.  Having a weakness in this cognitive area will affect reading, spelling, maths and science.  They may be diagnosed as having dyslexia, ADD or other learning problem.

Does your teenager:

  • forget how to read words they knew yesterday
  • lose things more often than they should
  • take a long time learning to read and spell new words and/or
  • find it difficult to remember chemical and mathematical formulae?
